Greener Life, Greener Earth
早前於3月18日 (星期日),生態巴士(Ecobus) 與40位來自不同大專院校的「學生環境領袖訓練計劃2017/18 (Greengoers)」參加者共同策劃,並在綠在觀塘舉行「綠綠無窮嘉年華」。
On March 18, Ecobus and 40 tertiary students, who are the “Greengoers” in the Student Environmental Protection Leader Training Scheme (SEPLS) 2017/18, have organized and launched the “Green Community Fair” in Kwun Tong Community Green Station.

希望透過攤位遊戲及工作坊,將環境保育及可持續發展概念帶進社區,提升公眾的全球公民意識及對保育大自然的責任感。
活動當日所包含的主題十分豐富,包括單車代步、綠色餐飲、包裝回收、非法放生、瀕危物種、再生能源、有機耕種及海洋垃圾;合共八個攤位。各大主題均有專責的學生領袖以生動有趣的方式將相關環保訊息帶給社會大眾,例如單車試踏、模擬沙灘、試食有機菜等。藉着遊戲或試食這類歡樂的學習方法,不論是成人、長者或小朋友,都「玩」得樂而忘返。
另外,活動更設有「鋁罐玫瑰工作坊」。顧名思義,將廢棄了的鋁罐升級回收為永不凋謝的玫瑰花擺設,延續這些「廢物」的「生命」。此工作坊設有兩個時段,均由有經驗的學生領袖帶領;經過他們悉心的指導,每人都能製作出屬於自己的玫瑰花;而市民都表示對此手工藝感到頗為新鮮和有趣。
是次活動錄得超過二百人次,對於首次舉行大型活動的學生領袖而言,成績令人振奮。活動不單單令公眾知道了更多環保知識,還是一個意見交流平台。當天,不少市民都主動和我們的學生領袖一起探討一些熱門的環境議題,或是提出一些社會可改進的地方;我們深信,是次活動都是學生領袖及市民大眾的愉快回憶;同時,希望大家都能將當天所認識的知識在日常生活中學以致用,與我們一起攜手宣揚環保,令我們的地球村變得更美。
大會特別鳴謝環境運動委員會、綠在觀塘及基督教家庭服務中心的鼎力協助,讓是次嘉年華得以順利舉行。
The objective of this event is to raise the public awareness of environmental conservation and to promote the sustainable development.
On that day, there were total eight game booths about different environmental topics, including adapting green lifestyle (bicycle city, green food, organic farming), renewable energy, recycling and marine debris, and biodiversity conservation (illegal release, endangered species). All the stalls are designed by the Greengoers who are specifically interested in that particular topic. Some interesting ways, such as a simulated beach, riding on a bicycle, tasting organic food, etc., was used to present the correlated message of environmental protection in order to let the citizens have fun so that their impressions can be deepened.
Moreover, the workshop of “Coke can rose” has applied the concept of upcycling. The experienced Greengoers taught the citizens to turn an empty can into a rose decoration patiently and step by step. Every participants has created their own rose flower, and all of them enjoyed the whole process and loved this handicraft a lot.
The fun fair has attracted over 200 visitors, which is a quite good result for the Greengoers who held such large event for their first time. Actually, this activity is not only letting the public know and understand more about the urgency of environmental issues and the importance of environmental protection , but also a platform for the citizens and Greengoers to exchange some opinions about environmental protection, for examples, environmental policy and education, etc. We believe these all are the good memories for the Greengoers and the general public. At the same time, we hope citizens can adapt a greener lifestyle and promote the message of environmental protection together in order to beautify our nature.
